Stop Smoking in Cars - Our Kids Deserve It!
Exposure to cigarette smoke in the confined space of a car is a serious threat to children's health. Yet every day many Canadian kids are forced to ride in smoke-filled cars.

Kids who are exposed to second-hand smoke are at higher risk for many health problems like asthma, ear infections, and SIDS. Kids' immune systems and lung function aren't fully developed, so they have a harder time recovering from smoke exposure. And kids don't fully understand the dangers of second-hand smoke; even if they did, they are usually powerless to avoid it.
The Lung Association is asking Canadians to urge their provincial government to take action on smoking in cars. It only takes a minute to support this campaign, and in the process you'll help thousands of children in Canada breathe easier.
