The cost of the service is covered for patients with a valid health card (OHIP card).
Program Schedule: 
Day program, each session is 2 hours in length (9-11am or 1-3pm). Participants attend 2-3x week for a max of 36 sessions.

Maintenance exercise program available, as well as pre- and post-lung transplant rehabilitation. Support group for people with various lung disease.

Program Offerings: 
Education
teaching lung disease managment skills.
Exercise
may include cardiovascular or aerobic training as well as strength and resistance training for upper and lower limbs. Often includes breathing muscles training, stretching and balance exercises. 
Group Support
Provides encouragement and social support by sharing experiences, coping strategies and exchanging information for those living with lung disease. May include guest speakers. 
Maintenance/Follow-Up
An on-going exercise program with or without subervision of a health care provider.
Pulmonary Function Test (PFT)
A breathing test that measures man lung function paramaters and includes spirometry. Usually done in a pulmonary function lab location in a hospital or clinic. 
Pulmonary Rehabilitation
An education and exercise program offered by a team of health care providers. The education components may include breathing control, energy conservation, understanding breathing medicines and how to use them, preventing flare-up and sesssions on quitting smoking. 
Spirometry Testing
a simple breathing test that can help in the diagnosis of different lung diseases
