Calvin Dimmer – Calgary, AB

I'm 28 years old. I've been smoking since I was about 18. I mostly began to smoke because everyone around me at work and at home seemed to be smoking and I finally decided I would give it a try.

For a long time I smoked with what seemed to be no consequences but for the last couple of years I've noticed/realized that my health has declined, most of the time I have no energy and I feel terrible, sometimes I even have panic attacks that I feel are triggered by smoking. Today is day eleven of not smoking. It's been really difficult. I try to remind myself of all the money I'm saving and how my energy level has already started to improve. I try to keep busy. Right now I'm still just taking it day by day, but each day I'm feeling better and better and each day is easier. If you're thinking about quitting smoking, it may not be easy, but it's totally possible and worth it. Good luck everyone!
