Breathe deeper

Set aside 1.25 minutes each day for deep-breathing exercises, also called “diaphragmatic breathing”. Not only does this simple practice help strengthen your lungs and the muscles that help you breathe, it can also help reduce stress.

Move more

Walk or run for at least 1.25 km. You can do this each day or over the course of a week. It’s a manageable goal that can add up to make a real difference to your heart and lung health.
